Frequently Asked Questions
1. Q: What is My Power Mall?
MPM is a "virtual shopping mall," or online shopping portal that includes now over 1,200 stores. It is growing rapidly, both in stores and members joining. There are two types of memberships, BOTH FREE:
A. A PERSONAL MALL. With a Personal Membership you can earn 2-55% rebate back from your purchases at your own mall.
B. A BUSINESS MALL. With a Business Membership you earn a smaller percentage of your rebate, however, you will earn a percentage on ALL rebates of shoppers on your team, 9 layers deep!
The corporation itself is led by a team of 60 people, including the founder Ginny Dye. $500,000 and over 4 years have been dedicated to building this business as a way to help others make money, save money, and give to children in need.
2. Q: How does it work?
Need something? Go to your personal shopping mall, choose the store or the type of items you want, and browse the stores available, click through the link and shop. The available rebate is listed for each store, from 2-55%. When your rebates/commissions add up to $25 or more, a check will be issued monthly.
3. Q: What if I want to make more money?
Then you can! Through your business mall, your commission is shared through 9 levels. You accumulate a small percentage from a growing number of people who accept their own free malls on your team. The number of people grow laterally and vertically, while the small rebate amount is multiplied though all of them.
4. Q: Is this a MLM or Pyramid Scheme?
No. There are never any membership fees or kits to buy. Money is only made when people shop for their everyday items and gifts. There is no one on the bottom feeding the wealthy on top, everyone starts out slow and builds their business to their desire. It is up to you how much effort you want to put into building your shopping matrix. We don't make money by selling memberships or our own products.
5. Q: Are you sure this doesn't cost money?
Yes. There are never any membership fees. But, in order to make money you do have to shop. We never encourage people to shop for the sake of shopping, but try to replace some of your usual brick and mortar purchases with purchases you could do on your mall. There are a variety of stores to choose from and ability to purchase gift cards for in-store use too!
6. Q: But did the prices in the stores get raised so it could cover the rebate we are getting back?
No. These are regular stores with the same promotions that are offered if you typed in the web address yourself. You can even find coupon codes online for many stores time to time and apply them as well. Many will offer free shipping promotions.
Often people find items much cheaper through our stores than they have at any other web store. Think about it this way - Retailers are always paying for advertising. The rebate is an advertising fee that they would be paying anyway. Because we are clicking through our mall, the chances that we would shop at their store increase, thus creating more customers!
7. Q: What's the catch? This seems too good to be true!
Honestly, there is no catch! I have researched the company, and read the agreement in its entirety and there is nothing fishy.
Finally, someone with some power has given us the gift for financial freedom. Ginny Dye has worked in MLMs. She watched a lot of people fail although she succeeded. She knew what it would take to make a program that would work for the team!
8. Q: Is MPM affiliated with any charities?
Yes. 6.5% of corporate profits go to One-Child-at-a-Time fund. When enough money has been produced to fund one child's financial needs, then a new child will be chosen. Ginny Dye is also the founder of Together We Can Change The World Day, and Shop for Charity Day.
9. Q: I don't understand the income breakdown, can you elaborate?
Sure, here is another illustration: Let's say you normally shop online at Target. They offer a 7% rebate on your purchases. Then let's assume you give away 10 malls and those 10 give away 10 and so on. For simplicity's sake, you all buy $100 of goods each month at Target. If you are a business mall owner, 7% of $100 is $7 and is divided between all 9 tiers. So to make 100% of that $7 it breaks down to each tier receiving:
Tier 1= 7%
Tier 2= 14%
Tier 3= 29%
Tier 4= 35%
Tier 5= 3%
Tier 6= 3%
Tier 7= 3%
Tier 8= 3%
Tier 9= 3%
____________________
Total is 100%
Tier 1 (you) get only 7% of $7 = 49c
Tier 2 you get 14% of the $7 = 98c x 10 people = $9.80
Tier 3 you get 29% of the $7 = $2.03 x 100 people= $203.00
Tier 4 you get 35% of the $7 = $2.45 x 1000 people= $2,450.00! Then it goes on to 3% for the remaining tiers 5-9.
Rebates are paid out after 45-60 days.
10. Q: Do I have to buy products I dont really need every month?
No, we are not selling anything. We are simply giving you the opportunity to make and save money. You will be shopping for the regular stuff you would buy anyway at over 1,200 stores on your shopping mall. If you don't find what you need or want at one store, go on the next. You have no monthly spending obligation.
11. Q: Can I give malls to my children even though they are not 18 yet?
Yes! Help build their college fund, help them save for special wants and needs!
12. Q: Who can I give shopping malls to?
EVERYONE! Let's think about that for a moment. Some people don't have the ability to get online, but there are other ways to help even those people. I have read the suggestion of a home party, where everyone gets to shop at your mall to see what it is all about and how exciting it is! Most local libraries offer internet access. They can give malls away in person rather than through the internet!
What about people in other countries? Even though most stores will not ship to countries outside the U.S., our income building opportunity is open to everyone! One of our most successful members is from Aussie (she currently has 167 in her 2nd tier and is now building her children's malls!) If you live outside the U.S. it is suggested you focus your efforts on giving malls away to those in the U.S.
What about people who live in rural areas? Absolutely! It is costly and time-consuming for them to get out to drive for an hour to go shopping, so now they only have to walk a few feet to their computer to get purchases delivered to their homes, sometimes even with no shipping charges!
What about people who are disabled? Of course! I think this is the best opportunity for those who can't get out! It is hard to find a job when you are disabled, and it is hard to get out shopping. Finally we can simply help those who are in this situation with a legitimate program to build wealth!
What about kids? Yes!
What about Businesses? Yes!
What about Non-Profit businesses? Yes indeed. MPM is perfectly suited to be an excellent long-term fundraising plan. In order to get paid through MPM you only need a SS# or an EIN# Got one? Great, you can join today!
